淄柴Z180系列油气双控LNG柴油双燃料发动机采用油气双电控关键技术，改变传统单一控制天然气模式“气进油退”的技术路线。采用电控供油方式，纯柴油与双燃料工作模式下可变供油提前角度进行工作，以电子控制单元（ECU）同时控制调节柴油喷射和天然气喷射，对纯柴油和双燃料工作模式独立优化标定工作MAP图，实现缸内燃烧的优化；提高燃料替代率，高达85%；船舶常用工况多为低速大扭矩，双燃料模式下能够满足低负荷加气需求，低负荷工况下燃料替代率较高；排放指标满足GB 15097-2016《船舶发动机排气污染物排放限制及测量方法（第一、二阶段）》要求。
